In God We Trust
In God we trust, in Him believe,
Into our lives His tenets weave.
We have chosen His Word to read
To find the wisdom that we need.

Often what we think is right
May seem okay... but isn't quite.
So we can search within the Word
And let His wisdom undergird.

When we're not sure which way to go,
It's best to wait until we know.
Always He will keep us steady,
And He will move when He is ready.

He may not move just as we think,
But from His voice we will not shrink.
For always He will know what's best.
In that we have His blessed rest.

In God we trust.....

"He who dwells in the secret place of the
Most High shall abide under the shadow of
the Almighty. I will say of the Lord,'He
is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in
Him I will trust.' "
Psalm 91:1 NKJ

A Girl And A Piano
A Little Girl
Little fingers on a keyboard
Dancing freely o'er the keys,
Not measuring time, but just enjoying it,
Quickly learning to play with ease.

Growing
Little fingers growing stronger
Exploring music, having fun,
Learning classics, mastering rhythms,
Trying new songs one by one.

A Lifetime
Full of music, full of songs,
Melodies and tunes within,
Making new chords - richer sounds,
Each new day with song begin.

A New Adventure
Even now the "song" bursts forth
In melody and rhyme.
And so I write with joyful heart
Each new creative line.

The Blessed (Best) Adventure
Wanting to touch the heart of God
In worship and in praise,
Desiring to bless the heart of God
And serve Him in all ways.

Within The Veil
Entering within the veil,
Drawing very close to You.....
I find peace and new life there
Each day my spirit to renew.

In Your inner chambers, Lord,
Is sweet communion..... rich and rare.
Time and space have no import.....
Of You alone I am aware.

What awesome joy to hear Your voice
And sense Your Holy Spirit hovering.
What blessed peace is found within
Your presence and Your covering.

This sweet refreshing that You bring
Has changed my life from day to day.
What more wondrous place to be
And what more blessed place to stay.

"How lovely is Your tabernacle, O Lord
of hosts! My soul longs, yes, even faints
for the courts of the Lord; My heart
and my flesh cry out for the living God."
Psalm 84:2 NKJ

Spring Smiles
Winter starts to lose its grip
When spring decides to show her face,
For spring just seems to blossom forth
And winter's bleakness to displace.

Cheerfully she starts to show
In twig and shoot, leaf and flower.
All the earth begins to stir
In readiness for spring's bright hour.

Her appearance rushes on
And trees burst forth in glorious bloom.
Her fragrance fills the morning air
With nature's wondrous, sweet perfume.

Rest and slumber were the mode
As winter had its quiet day.
But all the earth will soon awaken,
As spring comes brightly on her way!

"And the earth brought forth grass, the
herb that yields seed according to its
kind, and the tree that yields fruit,
whose seed is in itself according to its
kind. And God saw that it was good."
Genesis 1:12 NKJ
