The Best Answer
Lord, You are.....
The One Who sorts out the confusions of my life,
The One Who strengthens me when I am faint,
The One Who gives endurance when I am weary,
The One Who gives sufficiency when I am inadequate.

When I LEAN on You, I find balance.
When I RETREAT into Your presence, I move forward.
When I BOW DOWN before You, yet I shall stand taller.
When I GIVE UP my will to You, I shall find my purpose.

All that I place in Your hands rests
safely and has promise.....

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart
trusted in Him, and I am helped....."
Psalm 28:7 NKJ

"A man's steps are of the Lord; how then can a
man understand his own way?"
Proverbs 20:24 NKJ

A Window Story
"Little birdie on a limb,
I see your nest outside my window.
I watched you as you built it there
With grass and twigs you found below.

I saw you sitting on the nest,
Swaying gently in the breeze.
Then I saw some little eggs
And knew there would be babies.

One day I heard some chirping sounds
And looked to see what that might be.
Sitting there with mouths wide open,
There they were - your babies three.

I watched you as you came and went.
Back and forth you flew
To bring your babies seeds to eat.
Papa bird was busy, too!

I saw the little babies grow
And loved to hear them sing.
But I knew that one day soon
The babies would take wing.

Little birdie on a limb,
When you leave and fly away,
Maybe you could come again
And sing for me some other day."

The Lamb Of God
The Lamb of God - so
precious He
Who died for you and
died for me.

This flawless Lamb - Who
cared so much
And gave His life for
sinners and such.

He saw our plight and
saw our need
As on the cross His
side did bleed.

The blood that flowed
was shed in pain,
But given in love to
be our gain.

So great His love for
you and me,
His sacrifice upon the
tree.

"Greater love has no one than this, than
to lay down one's life for his friends....."
John 15:13 NKJ

Springtime
As winter wearies and falls asleep
And springtime warms the cold, damp earth,
It seems creation starts to smile,
And everywhere we see its birth.

Suddenly poking through the soil
Are tiny shoots and tender plants.
Leaves and blossom on the trees
Are making happy new appearance!

Once again we are reminded
Of God's love and giving hand.
For only He could form such beauty.
Long ago springtime was planned.

"Praise the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to His
excellent greatness!"
Psalm 150:1-2 NKJ
